This is a gift I drew for
of her gorgeous equid Vasira. I had drawn the lineart when I was heavily boredom induced during an annoying geography class. By then I had no idea of what I should do with the lineart... and this happened ^^'. I must admit, messing around with stripes IS fun!
Seriously, I'm very inspired for these creatures, I love to draw them really badly and you'll probably see me doing more traditional art of them ;3. I'm also very proud of this drawing, by using vasira as some kind of guinea pig for my experiments, I ended up developing a new, faster shading technique for me.
Oh, well, I hope you like this ^^.
PS: damn you, scanner, you messed up with the colors again! Oh, and I know that the female equids don't have much forelock or very long feathering, but once I realized this, it was too late XP.Tools used for the Art:
- a bunch of watercolor pencils
- A4 paper
- My right hand
- Lots of patience
- boring school classes(the best inspiration makers)
- Pills for headache(after all that mane and tail hair, of course I'd get one -.-)
